A release about what the right edge of the chart shows you, how quietly the app sits when nothing is happening, and what an in-app update is allowed to install. Your data, license and settings carry over from v1.2.2 unchanged. Prices, plans and how activation works are the same, and nothing about signal selection, strategy or gate decisions has changed.

Changed — the chart

• The current price is a live line, not a candle. The right edge of the chart carries a price line with its price and freshness, updated between candle closes. The candles behind it are unchanged confirmed history, and nothing is decided from the live price.
• The unconfirmed forming candle has been removed, together with its three display options. Signals have always been evaluated on closed candles only, and the chart now draws only candles that have actually closed.
• One authority answers what state your data is in, so the quote side and the candle side can no longer disagree about it.

Improved — stability & performance

• An idle chart stays still. Charts and secondary windows do less work when nothing is happening: an idle chart no longer redraws or rescales on its own, and Multi-Timeframe recalculates only when a candle actually closes.
• Windows behave. Every window remembers where you left it, including when you close one straight after moving it, and the main window's title bar follows your theme — dark chrome in dark mode, light chrome in light mode. Secondary windows keep the standard Windows title bar.

Security

• In-app updates now require a NovaStation-signed installer. The expected signer identity ships inside the application; an update that cannot be confirmed as signed by NovaStation is refused and your working installation is left untouched.
• Still no analytics and no telemetry: NovaStation sends nothing about you or your trading.
• The installer and application remain Authenticode-signed by Kyle Diaz and RFC3161-timestamped — Windows shows the verified publisher when you run them.

Improved — market data

• The chart tells you the state of your data in plain words — Live, Syncing, Reconnecting, Delayed, Incomplete or Offline — and old or cached candles can no longer be shown to you as live.
• One data path. All market data now comes through a single path, so the chart, the scanner and your alerts can never disagree about what the market did — and if a source fails, NovaStation switches to the other one immediately instead of leaving you waiting.
• Missing candles are repaired. Gaps inside your history are found and refilled automatically; until they are, the chart says so rather than pretending the history is complete.

Improved — review

• Signal Evaluation is now in the Signals menu — browse the recorded evaluations and export the evidence behind them.

Privacy & security

• Still no analytics and no telemetry: NovaStation sends nothing about you or your trading.

Improved — charts

• Faster, smoother charts. Reworked pan and zoom rendering cuts the frame time of a maximized pan dramatically, and hover and crosshair updates are quicker by redrawing only the parts of the chart that changed.
• Cleaner candles. Fixed candle “ghosting” and rendering artifacts on maximized charts, corrected the chart’s starting viewport, and fixed how the live in-progress candle updates.

Improved — signals & review

• Clearer signals. Signal presentation now leads with a single plain verdict instead of scattered numbers, and Signal Twin stays readable in a narrow panel with a light-theme fix and an honest “not enough history yet” state.
• Gate Inspector now describes the real waiting-state outcome, and Signal History says exactly which kind of empty state it is showing.
• Honest status everywhere. NovaPulse tells the truth about alert failures and data freshness; paper-trading metrics, clocks, confirmations and the price badge are truthful about simulation and feed; NovaInsights summarizes the paper record honestly.

Improved — guidance, windows & accessibility

• Nova Journey rebuilt on one canonical progress model, fixing a stalled-step contradiction, with copy that no longer clips.
• Consistent navigation hierarchy and icons, visible keyboard focus, and windows that remember their size and position between sessions.
• Responsive Settings and Help windows, a fixed top-bar label clip, app-wide high-DPI fixes, and contrast and typography accessibility improvements. Clearer Lite upgrade and Premium-lock messaging.

• Activation guidance now masks your license key and no longer risks showing it on screen.
