Refunds & cancellation
Short version: NovaStation subscriptions are non-refundable. You can cancel anytime to stop future billing, and your access remains active through the end of the current paid billing period.
Try Lite before subscribing
NovaStation Lite is a free chart/workspace preview of the desktop app — there is no time limit and no license required. Lite is the intended way to evaluate the interface, chart flow, theme, and basic visual settings before subscribing to Premium. Please review the Lite preview, the feature list, the FAQ, and the risk disclaimer before subscribing.
Refund policy
All NovaStation subscription payments are final and non-refundable. This applies to your Stripe subscription, the most recent charge, and any prior charges.
- No refunds are issued for partially-used billing cycles.
- No refunds are issued for change-of-mind after delivery of access.
- No refunds are issued for unused time on an active subscription after cancellation.
If your bank reports a compromised card or genuine fraud, contact your bank — they handle disputes through the proper process.
Note: if the law where you live grants you a non-waivable refund or withdrawal right (for example, EU/UK distance-selling rules), that right continues to apply regardless of the general policy above.
How to cancel
You can cancel anytime to stop future billing. Pick whichever path is easiest:
Cancel from My Account (easiest)
- Sign in to My Account with your checkout email.
- Open billing management — this opens the secure Stripe customer portal for your subscription.
- Click Cancel subscription.
Cancel from your Stripe receipt
- Find your most recent Stripe receipt email (sender is Stripe; subject usually starts with "Your receipt from").
- Click the self-service portal link inside. The Stripe customer portal opens.
- Click Cancel subscription.
Either way, billing stops at the next renewal. Your Premium access remains active through the end of the current paid billing period, after which Premium features lock and NovaStation returns to Lite — the free tier, which stays available.
Can't sign in, or the portal link doesn't load? Email novastationsupport@gmail.com and we will cancel from our side — usually within one business day.
What happens after cancellation
- You keep Premium access through the end of the current paid billing period.
- No further charges are made.
- After the billing period ends, Premium features lock and Premium-only notifications stop firing. The app re-checks your subscription with our licensing server periodically, so Premium stops being granted once the paid period is over. NovaStation returns to Lite and stays usable — you are never locked out of the app.

Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — we can usually resolve billing questions directly and faster than the bank. Chargebacks against legitimate subscription charges may result in your license being terminated and your email being blocked from future subscriptions.
Re-subscribing
If you cancel and later change your mind, you can subscribe again from the pricing page. Use the same checkout email you used before.
You keep your original license key. Re-subscribing restores Premium on the key you already have — it does not issue a new one, and you should not expect a second license email. If you no longer have the key, sign in to My Account to reveal it or have it re-sent to you, then activate as usual on up to 3 devices.
